In this blog post, we share a look at one of Africa’s most exciting startup and technology trade shows, its standout participants, and the role AdoptoMedia played in supporting emerging founders.

About the event

Latitude59 Kenya edition is the flagship startup and tech event that provides a powerful platform for African and international founders to build valuable connections, exchange knowledge, and tackle challenges with the support of the global innovation community. The event aims to build bridges between regions, bringing global expertise to strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of local markets and business environments.

It took place in Nairobi December 3-5, 2025 and brought together more than 3,000 participants, including 1,500 entrepreneurs across sectors such as Green Tech, Health, Agri-Tech, AI, and Fintech, along with 350 investors, ecosystem leaders, and policymakers from across Africa and around the world.

This year’s program focused on accelerating Africa’s next wave of innovation through Digital and Green Innovation. Its agenda aimed to connect African founders with global networks, capital, and expertise, and to help leaders and policymakers collaborate on sustainable, inclusive digital transformation.

AdoptoMedia’s continued partnership with Latitude59

AdoptoMedia has been a long-term partner of Latitude59, and this participation reflects our ongoing collaboration. Last year, we worked closely with Latitude59 to deliver workshops for entrepreneurs and startup teams, helping them understand how the funding landscape works and how to prepare effectively for investment opportunities.

This year, we partnered specifically with several winners of the pitch competition, offering targeted support to help them sharpen their strategies and prepare for the next stage of growth. As AdoptoMedia’s representative, Rick Ashley took part in the conference and presented prize packages to several standout startups.

As AdoptoMedia is still at an early stage of coming into this market and the region, Latitude59 offers an invaluable platform to engage directly with founders and share how we can help them become investment-ready. Our support typically focuses on two key areas:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy Development: we help founders refine their go-to-market strategy, building a compelling narrative around how their idea will work in practice, gain traction, and generate revenue.
  • Preparation for Investor Due Diligence: we ensure startups understand and are ready for the rigorous evaluation process required by serious institutional investors, including commercial due diligence.

Events like Latitude59 provide an ideal environment for founders to deepen their understanding of the ecosystem while connecting with experts in a friendly, energetic, and inspiring setting.

AdoptoMedia Awards: supporting promising startups

As part of our contribution to Latitude59 Kenya, AdoptoMedia awarded prize packages to three outstanding startups:

Vertical Lake — sustainable, circular, and alternative protein production. Vertical Lake received AdoptoMedia’s “Preparation for Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) and Fundraising” package. This support includes preparing the project for funding, assessing its commercial readiness, and helping unlock the potential for a higher valuation.

Acre Insights  — a high-resolution, locally built drone intelligence for agriculture and forestry. This startup was awarded AdoptoMedia’s “Go-to-Market Strategy for Investors” package, which includes evaluating the potential number of new clients they can acquire during their current investment round and developing a strategy to reach them effectively.

LOOP Pet Food — plant-based and insect-protein dog food, treats, and supplements. They also received the “Go-to-Market Strategy for Investors” package, which will help them refine their market entry approach and strengthen their investment narrative.

AdoptoMedia’s CEO Alexey Kuznetsov noted that  “Latitude59 is an important event for bringing together founders, investors, and innovators from across the region. We’re glad to be part of it and to support startups as they grow. AdoptoMedia values this partnership, and we look forward to continuing our work together in the future.”
